Non-crosslinked Polyethylene is a type of foam material widely used in electronic product packaging and is produced by extrusion foaming process from polyethylene polymers. It makes a good packaging material as it has the following properties:

Non-crosslinked polyethylene foam is 100% recyclable and reusable. Producers can recycle the scraps of non-crosslinked polyethylene into pellets,they can mix these recycled pellets with virgin Polyethylene polymers to produce new package again.
Non-crosslinked polyethylene is made from foaming gas and air, making it very light yet large in mass, which makes the transport of this material a huge problem. It also means the processing ability is very slow. In order to solve its recycling difficulties, GREENMAX have manufactured the Zues compactor to reduce the volume of non crosslinked polyethylene foam.
GREENMAX Zues compactor can compress the non crosslinked Polyethylene foam to a 50:1 ratio. This then allows the scraps of polyethylene foam to be transported to a recycling and reprocessing location for re-granulates and finally be reused back for the production non crosslinked polyethylene foam.
