Karran USA is a leading manufacturer of kitchen and bathroom sinks and faucets made from a variety of durable materials, including stainless steel, acrylic, quartz composite and glass. EPS and polyethylene are used in the packaging of its products, and as your business grows, so does the amount of foam waste generated by packaging your products. So Karran started recycling polyethylene waste, hoping to achieve its goal of "sustainability" while addressing waste.

Six years earlier, Karran had purchased another brand of densifier that worked well with polystyrene. Karran was concerned about this situation because the amount of polyethylene was increasing with the increase in waste, but the cloudy conditions were causing inefficiencies and waste piling up.

Knowing their predicament, GREENMAX sent workers in July 2022 to find the cause of the overcooling. Upon inspection, GREENMAX found that its EPS polystyrene had a density of 2lbs, while polyethylene had a density of 1lbs..7 lbs. to 2 lbs. The densities were different, so the machine could not process the two different polystyrenes properly. As more and more polyethylene became available, the company decided to purchase another polyethylene densifier to process the polyethylene separately. in addition, the foam concentrator is easy to operate and has a higher compression ratio than the other machines, making it more efficient to recycle.

GREENMAX Recycling is a specialist manufacturer of foam recycling machines and Karran trusts us. Based on their current foam waste volume and recycling program, GREENMAX recommended the M-C200E polyethylene thickener. The machine is a double crushing structure with bottom stirring device and increased heating power to ensure the melting degree. Once the model was determined, the machine was quickly shipped to Karan's warehouse and put into operation. The polyethylene thickener meets the need to process two different foams separately. This polyethylene thickener has increased the efficiency of the warehouse and allowed Karran to bring ESG to life through recycling.
